So i'm in the market for a big LCD. I watch a lot of movies on my computer but I also do a fair bit of multitasking (typing a paper, surfing the internet and watching a movie at the same time)
I also do some gaming but nothing too big.

Should I buy the viewsonic 19' vp930 or the dell 20.1" widescreen?

I can get both within 30 dollars difference and I am not sure what to do! TH rated the VP930 as the best all around 19inch monitor but I can't find a comparison to dell.

the widescreen is really calling my name but I am not sure of how much quality I will be losing.

Anyone have any experience? All I remember are the first Dell lcds where I could see each pixel. My last LCD was a beautiful sony for which I paid 150 more than I would have if I had bought a no brand LCD but I never looked back... Is this the same case?

What do you guys think.

ALso thanks for the great site and forums. first post so YAY
