Just curious...
I have an AMD 4000 I usually run at 2.7 with dual 7800's. Since adding a 7900 GTX my system will not run Prime95 at those same speeds. In fact I had to go all the way back to stock cpu speeds in order to pass Prime95.
I was just wondering if anyone out there was running a CPU OC with the 7900 GTX. So far I found one other person who said the same thing. No issues OC'ing with the 78 but no OC love at all with the 79's.
Just curious if anyone has a cpu OC going with this card...
Thanks,
-Paul

no problems here with a pee-d , overclocking both 805 and 7900gtx. And by the looks of the comparison on futuremark there are a whole bunch of cpu ocers on there.
Just wondering what motherboard are you using?
Are you using the latest driver from nvidea? I am not really sure how you cpu oc will effect pcie except for pcie frequency. Do you have that option on the mobo?

But to anser your question, I have two 7900GTX and am slightly overclocked (10%)
