Can you run a gigabyte x1900crossfire mastercard with a diamond viper x1900xtx? They are both basically reference boards so i don't see any problems that could arise but does anyone know for sure? These are the cheapest cards so I want to buy them cause i am stapped for cash plus the diamond is aparrently the fastest.

This may have already been asked but i don't have the time to search the forum cause my service provider has capped the living @#$% out of me.

yes, to the best of my knowledge you can run any 2 cards of the same series in crossfire. as long as, like you have, a mastercard as one of the cards. oh, and i kinda know how you feel as my ISP sent a warning message about the usage in my house. there is a few members in my house but my dad thinks it is all my online gaming. i didn't think they used that much but who knows.
