Bit of a long shot, but has anyone else noticed that the Pocket Streets 2005
maps for Melbourne, Australia cover tens and tens of kilometers NE and NW of
the city where no-one lives, but only go about 5km South, cutting off half
of the population?

That's because Melbourne is actually a southern suburb of Sydney (hey, hey,
hey)!!!
On a more serious note, Pocket Streets must be like Navman's SmartST V2. It
is absolutely hopeless for Tasmania and not that good outside major (big
towns by Oz standards) cities.
I think they are usng 10 year old maps and the people checking them don't
even know where Australia is.

This is, would you say, a BAD thing? ;-)
