I am running WIN98SE. Things had been working fine. However today
something very puzzling is happening.

Whenever I try to run IE6, I get an error that says that Explorer (or
sometimes Internet Explorer) has requested of RunTime an abnormal
termination. At least I think that is what the error says.

IE closes and my desktop is empty -- no icons at all. I can reboot, that
that's about all I can do.

Any suggestions?

Go to Start>Run box, type in MSINFO32, then press <enter>.
In the Tools menu, choose IE Repair.

Does that fix it?
