Hi,

I've just got this board working (after numerous ACPI errors) however after updating the BIOS to 1103 I am experiencing a very long load time on the Windows XP screen. Has anyone else had problems with this particular version of the BIOS, if so what would be the best, most stable, version to re-flash with?

Thanks,

Pete

Temjin,

I just put together a new system with this board (A8N32-SLI Deluxe) 3 days ago (5/12/2006). I have the 1103 bios, and I'm not experiencing problems.

I have an Opteron 165 (1.8GHz default) running at 2430MHz, XFX 7900GTX, 2x1GB OCZ PC5000 DDRAM, Sparkle 650W psu, Cool It FreezeZone CPU cooler (28C idle/ 38C full load . . . . 2 Prime95 apps running, one on each core), and Windows XP home SP2.

So it is probably not the bios that is causing problems.

Still tweaking towards a higher overclock.
Today (5/15/2006) have the cpu up to 290MHz x 9 = 2610MHz and still going.
