p4 3.0C multiplier HEEEEEEEEELPPP WAAA

I have an asus p4p800-e-deluxe mainboard ,1024 ram (512x2) , and a p4 3000 northwood cpu and it has multiplier 15x locked and in bios i cant edit it pls help i know that intel cpus are locked from factory , but hey if they lock it , there is a possible way to unlock it !!! help waa

Sorry to break the bad news to you, but unless its an ES(engineering

sample) you can't change the muliplyer. FSB is your only option for

fun. :?

Thats what I was gonna say. Try the FSB like 1Tanker said.

I am under the impression he would be your best bet considering he is a Intel Fanboy.

you can;t unlock a locked INTEL processor. You could with the athlon XP series though.

One workaround is to get a custom bios. I've read reviews where they've used them on mohterboards that use the socket 478 chips. I've never seen one though. Maybe someones been blowing smoke up my ass.....

Eeeh. That sounds far too Brokeback....

hey the p4 3.0 :) but the fsb cant go more then 245 with 266 mhz lowered ram then the mainboard will reset the bios , is there no pencil trick :) i saw a movie doing with amd athlon xp and it worked :) ye :)
