I recieved an email today with that subject line(Without the question mark's of course).

My first inclination is to delete it as spam/phishing or something similar.
So the question is this. Is it legit ?

I have the same question. I filled out the survey up until it asked for personal information. It seems legit but I'd like to know for sure. I seem to remember checking a box or something to be on something like this a while back...but again, not sure.

There was an enrollment box to check/uncheck on all the giveaway entries Tom's had this past summer.

Doesn't look they're asking any more info then whats in a phone book, I was Leary also, but with the basic info that is already publicly out there & a unique user name & password thats not used anywhere else. doesn't seem like much of a risk. Heck if thats all some one needs to still identity then phone books would be banned, lol

Edit: I just checked. Everyone who entered the THG 10th anniversary competetions had the option of checking the "advisory panel" option - those that said yes - got an invite. So YES - it's real.
