My current system is Athlon XP 2400+ on Leadtek GA-7VAX1394 MB with 1GB PC3200 RAM, GigaByte GF4 Ti4200 video, 120Gb disk. XP Home.

My problem is slow performance on the above mentioned games and general system instability.

I know I need to replace at least the video card (I think it got partly cooked when I had overheating issues due to a failing fan. The MB and CPU were replaced but not the graphics card), but would like to know if I will just bottleneck on the CPU.

Also any recommendations as to what levels of graphics cards are needed for these games would be appreciated.

RCT 3? Do you expect us to know what this is? Why didn't you abreviate SimCity 4 as SC 4?

I have SC3 that might need something high end kinda like a 6600. Roller coaster Tycoon...Actually never played it
