We've been getting this message: "The systray.exe file is linked to
missing export batmeter.dll:destroyBatMeter."

Would appreciate help on how to fix this.

Thanks.

Is this a desktop machine, or is it a laptop?

Extract a new copy of batmeter.dll from your Win98 CD (or from the .cab file
location on your hard drive) to the Windows\System folder, using the "Extract one
file" option of System File Checker (SFC).

Using SFC to extract a file:

Try to reinstall batmeter.dll from your W98 CD using
start->sfc->replace one single file

Thanks to everyone.

I reinstalled batmeter.dll using ext.exe and it fixed the problem.

Yup, there's more than one way to extract a new copy of the file....SFC, Ext, or
simply using Winzip. :)

Glad to hear it, and thanks for the feedback!
