USB Drivers - Win98

My USB ports on my Win98 are dead. I do not get: New Hardware Found,
message when I plug devices in.... even after reboot. This Win98 was
upgraded from Win95. I tried upgrading the drivers but it says the best
drivers are installed...

Help !!!?????

Don't allow Windows to do a search.

Force feed it the new drivers.

Did they ever work? Maybe USB is disabled in BIOS?
