cpu temp question

i just overclocked my 4400+ to 2.4ghz and put a zalman CNPS7000B-cu on it. running 2 prime95s (one for each core) for 30 minutes my cpu temp tops out at 51c, is this an ok full load temp? if it is should i push it even more?

Anything under 70C or so is fine. 51C is not hot at all.

The heat-death of integrated curcuits will begin to affect your machine, but that means the core will only last 3 years, and not the 15 it is rated for.

As Mobius and wusy said that temp is not bad.

As long as it doesn't go above 65-70C for extended periods of time you should be fine.

A torch is not hot enough, in order to reach proper operating temperature you should put your CPU into low orbit around the sun!
