Hi,
I have been searching up and down for a good affordable monitor.
So far i have i have it narrowed down to the following:
Samsung 193P+ (1280x1024)
Viewsonic VA1912wb (1440x900)
Viewsonic VX2025wm (1680x1050)
I owned the Samsung 173P+ got a refund for it, cause there was a bright pixel dead center of the screen, and there were 2 dark horizontal patches runing toward the center of the screen, and it said that it was 178/178 but it really wasnt.
Widescreen format monitors are the new trend and they look good, the 20" viewsonic X Series looks good, but i have read some mixed reviews on it, such as: Glittery colors, and light leaks.
So please help me decide what monitor to get. Thanks.
P.s. I multitask (work with graphics, browse the web, and play games).
For $70 cheaper, you can get the vx922 which I recommend for gaming.
Widescreen? New trend? Where have I been? That resolution of widescreen monitors may screw up some games or the monitor, the vx922 is 1280x1024.
I own the vx922 and I've been eyeballing the vx2025 as a secondary monitor, although due to price reasons, I may just end up purchasing another vx922 for a dual monitor setup.
If I did buy the vx2025, I would use it as the secondary monitor so ghosting would be a moot point for that monitor, since the vx922 I have now would be the main one.
Just trying to save you some money and a hassle since you mentioned "games."
