crashing browsers!! NEED HELP ASAP!!!

im trying to connect a computer to the net and i keep getting iexplore errors. "explorer has causeed an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at 0000:006e002e." i reinstalled the browser 5+ times and still get the error. i also tried netscape and that crashed too. i did a reinstall of the os (win98)over the previous install and that didnt do anything. everything was working fine until i hooked up a linksys cable modem and the comcast guy ran the setup cd. thats when the problems started and the cable guy just left. any ideas?

uninstall whatever crap the cable guy installed.

unfortunately there isnt anything to uninstall.

stop using windows
that might help..
delete all the crap that the guy installed
reinstall IE
make sure you have all the upadtes for win98, make sure u have all the patches and SPs for IE as well.
