I have actually never left the US and I am determined to go to Europe for my next vacation. One of my buddies is a big world traveler and sent me the following URL www.Lufthansa.com early this morning. Of course he is out of the office the rest od the day so I won't be able to contact him. Anyways I found one flight that was Washington to Amsterdam $215 (each way). Is this a good deal??? It's a 1-day sale so I have to make a decision relatively soon. :?

Apparently you don't fly often either.

$430 round trip almost anywhere that far away is a good price.

Just to set your mind at ease, yesterday at Newark International Airport a Lufthansa pilot crashed wings with another plane...While they were still on the ground!!!!!

All Good German pilots were shot down in WWII, By all means fly Lufthansa

Reply to AilingBlackLab

Initial reports state that the German pilot had a blood alcohol level of 0.06 which is 0.08 below the German pilot's required levels.

First off that happens so infrequently. There are so few accidents relative to the thousands of flights that take off and land without a problem everyday. You're def more likely to get into a car accident!

This Lufthansa 1-day deal is too sweet! One of my buddies in Boston has always wanted to go to Hungry. I just emailed the price I found on the company website. Boston to Budapest for $302.....he flipped. You CANT beat that on any travelsite! :D

Well the Gods of probibility took the week off at Newark Intl....Saturday They had a 757 Land on the taxiway instead of the runway.

I've flown Liverpool to Tallin return for £7.50. I would happily pay twenty times more if the difference could be used to keep you jokers from polluting our continent.[/pissed and off to bed]

Here's an idea... Go to a few other travel sites, and see what their prices are... Then you won't have to bother us... Send my your CC#, expiration date, CV2 code off the back, SS#, address, and $10,000, and I'll buy you a ticket to where ever you want to go...

Yeah, you're right.

I was blinded about the prospect of having Big Mac take me to a "Amsterdam" cafe for a smoke or two and then we head off to some Amsterdam rave or strip joint for an afternoon of good times.

Bloody noobs proposing such good deals; must remember to slam 'em next time.
