x1900xtx vs intel P D 940

ok, gonna buy a new system during the summer, but i was debating on these 2 parts that i could get deals on, first of all the x1900xtx i can get for 180 dollars off a friend ati original brand, new, etc. and i would get an amd system with an xpress 1600 asus mobo and a 4400x2 processor. the other choice would be get the intel system, i buy an nvidia sli mobo and i get that processor for free....any suggestions on wat i should pick?

edit: Hmm...you save $200 with 2 x 7600GTs...are they new?
With the ATI Radeon X1900XTX you save ~$300

The X1900XTX performs better too...

it also depends on the Intel processor you're getting for free, although I would still get the X1900XTX...

I think the 4400+ is better than the 940 anyway...

btw where are you getting these deals? I know your friend gave them to you, but I want in too
