This is one of the few usb handsets available. I have not used this
product. Other advertised usb handsets cost twice as much.

They seem to have a nice selection.

On top of that I can add that I myself use Logitech's USB headset (P/N
B-0125A) with all kinds of softphones, including proprietary, Skype and
Net2Phone's, and never had any problem with it.
