I posted this problem I've been having with my GPU earlier (last year), and it's come back...
Every time the GPU has to load something large, the screen blacks. It has practically nothing to do with the heat, or so I think: it operates well, and it's practically new. This is really annoying me now, as I cannot game without it blacking every 5 seconds or so, which is destroying my opportunity to play in my clan's CS:S tournament. I've looked all over the web, and nobody else seems to have this problem, and I simply don't know why it stopped doing it, and now it's back after around 3 months of perfect use. I'm going to try re-installing everything, but if not, I'll take it back and buy a new one (not the GTO16).
For a quick fix, I can play at 640x480, at 60hz. I;m using a Samsung SyncMaster 930bf: the original problem was solved by uninstalling the driver for it and using a plug and play driver.
EDIT: Re-installed the main GPU driver, it seems ok now. I hope.
