Hey all,
I have an Asus A8V Deluxe S939 board with a 64-bit 3500+ in it. I recently came across an X2 4200 and after i installed it in my rig, I booted up and nothing came up onscreen.
I was wondering if anyone knew of any compatibility issues between my mobo and this new CPU.
Thanks guys,
Nerf'd

So would i have to put the old CPU in, flash the bios, then put the X2 back?
Or, can i make a bios flash disk with this computer (roomate's)?

You'll need the working CPU in place to perform the flash... you can make the disk on another computer, but you still have to boot from the computer you're working with in order to flash it's BIOS.
