ati drivers still installed, but putting in Nvidia 6800 gt??

OKay guys, i have a prob, or at least i may not sure. I have my 6800 gt coming in the mail, but the problem is i forgot to delete my ATI drivers before i removed the x800 gt. Will i be abel to turn my computer on with the 6800 gt video card and boot up to windows , to delete the ATI drivers so i can install the Omega drivers for the for my card to work. Or, will i have like a total meltdown trying to install my Nvidia card and run computer with the ATI drivers still installed.
