Is the Audigy 4 better than all the Audigy 2s?

I got an Audigy 4 a couple of weeks ago... Im wondering Is this card better than the Audigy 2s.

If U mean on audigy 2 ZS then not.

The Audigy 4 OEM is the Audigy 2 ZS rebadged. The DACs are slightly better than the vanilla Audigy 2, and bitperfect (also known as no sampling) is available through the digital out (not exactly new for none-Creative cards, but a Creative first).

If you are talking about the $250 Audigy 4 Pro, then yes, it is quite a step up electronics-wise from the Audigy 2.

when was the audigy 4 released? i do not recall it ever coming out or hearing any hype about it a la x fi.. ? i guess it sucked

I guess you could say in a way, yes, things that are not hyped do suck. They don't sell as well as hyped products.

no i didnt mean things that arent hyped have to suck.. the x fi is hyped to hell and im sure its the same as an audigy. i just meant i never heard a word about the audigy 4.
