is it just in my country (probably yes)
or are half of the computer shops completely unaware of witch bullsh*t they are selling?
i just saw a promotion in the shop around the corner:
p4 2.8gig
512 ddr333
mobo was not even mentioned
amd omfg a geforce 4ti

this was labeled as: "the ultimate gaming system"
and guess what it's only 2000€!!!

thank god not every shop in my country is so retard... :evil:
any similar situations?

that's not Belgium alone. That's a worldwide trend.

It's not rare for computer salespeople to not be computer enthusiasts. 'Been there.

It's like a car salesman who know shit about cars and can't tell you details about the car you're looking. 'Been there.

That's why whenever I am doing some shopping, I do my own research and never rely on the salesperson's information on the products, 'cause I know they are somewhat technologically challenged.
