was just reading thru the THG test, and well impressed with the overclocking results.

Coming from a AMD background - intel is new ground for me. :)

The mobos he recommends are intel chipsets, and these are around £100+ mark.

Can you use VIA / SIS / ATI based chipsets, if so what mobo would u recommend around £50 if even possible.

SATA300, USB2.0, PCIE, Sound, LAN

The zalman cooler, theres a few different types, which would do my job.

And finally would ddr2 667mhz ram fit the bill.
Can't seem to find ddr2 800mhz anywere in the uk.

I would like possibly to get around 3.5 - 3.8ghz stable.

Well i went with a Nforce 4 chipset as i have sli cards but if you going single display card then an conroe ready intel chipset is the way to go.

Check my sig for my system specs. Very happy with it :)
