Is this a good computer (spending around $2300cdn)

I was wondering if this met your guyses approval:

ACER AL1916B LCD (Black) 19" monitor

now that not including the DVD burners, network card, floppy drive, speakers, or keyboard.
I was first thinking of getting a AMD - Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core (3800+) 2.0 GHz and a Asus A8N5X NF4 motherboard but after reading the thing on the front page of the site (when the guys OC the intel processor) a couple of days ago i changed my mind.
Anyway say what you think of it please.

if you have'nt been looking at canadian money lately its about $ 0.91 of 1$US so thats bout 2100$US

May need a bigger power supply since that processor rapes the PSU when highly overclocked. Also, if you are going to drop that much money on a new system why not wait for the Core 2 Duo to come out. Yes it will be more expensive, but the money you save on your utility bill will probably make up for it in a years time

I don't know about 2.3k on this computer... but I can for sure build a way better computer with that much money.

It's kinda bit overpriced... for stuff you paying, probably except ur 7900gtx...
