IntelliMouse Optical

I'm having a problem that my friend isn't, and he has the exact same mouse and Windows Me installed as well:

Earlier, I was having a problem even having the Hibernation mode available for WinMe. Now, once I have it available, I can't go into Stand by or Hibernation mode because "My HID-class device is preventing me." My IntelliMouse is obviously my HID. What can I do? I've already installed IntelliPoint 3.2, and done a fresh install of WinMe...

I just read an article that mentions the hibernation mode for Windows98 SE ?? and they said this feature can not be used with FAT32 partitions. You can use a bootdisk and go into Fdisk and see what system your partitions are I believe is options 4 for displaying your partition information. One of the displays will say FAT32 or FAT16 etc.

It is much easier to right click on the drive in the windows explorer and select Properties to see what the File System it has (FAT, FAT32, etc).

it is a mistake to be afraid to make one...
