Which one is better?

I been looking for few months and i been wondering my friend has an xbox 360 and the graphics on most games are awesome and i wanna know if i would get a 7900gtx from evga and i have a good processor and good memory and everything would the graphics be better/

i saw many pictures of computer games but when i see the graphics are not that good please tell me which one should i get?

I know its a big diffrence between the budget but i just wana know if my pc be better?

The xbox 360 is a very powerful machine and even whit a good pc you can't have the same results,your graphics will be nice but it still could not beat a xbox 3600 or a ps 3.

The 360 performs well by console standards, but PC graphics support higher resolutions, more detailed textures and higher framerates. For this reason console performance can't be compared fairly to PC graphics. The latest high-end graphics cards cost more than the 360 in their own right.

And why is the xbox 360 so powerful i read that the 7900gtx 512 is stronger then the xbox 360 graphic card is that true?

And can someone show me some pictures of of a game play that i could get on a pc like with a graphic card 512 7900gtx

well right now i have a dell which sucks and that is why i am looking for another pc

I am planning on getting this rig:
AM2 w/e the numbers are some good choice of am2
new am2 asus motherboard
corsair memory 2 gigs
silverstone zeus 650 watts
new nvidia graphic card probably 512
2 74gigs raptors in raid 0
and everything watercooled


my budjet 2300

Its a question that is worth asking. The programming for Xbox et al is very tight and the proccessors are custom to the purpose, you cannot beat them. To Xbox ore PC?

remember that a PC can be used for other things.

so does anybody have a graphic card that will provide graphics like this and could show the picture of any in game playing i would be very happy and specify what graphic card is it?
