My brother has an Alienware (I know, I know...) with a 6800 Ultra and Asus P4C800-E Deluxe Motherboard. Yesterday, he got an error message in Windows claiming that "Windows has recovered from a serious system error" or something of that sort; the computer then restarted. This happened twice; now, when we turn on the computer, we either get a blank screen or a bunch of wierd graphical artifacts, codes and flickering hash marks and such. There's no POST beep. I've tried booting without any of the devices (memory, hard-drive, etc) attached, but still no POST. I've tried clearing the CMOS and using the Alienware boot image CD; nothing works. Help!

Well, no thanks to you all, I fixed it...turns out it was a faulty graphics card. I guess a 6800 Ultra would make a decent doorstop, at the very least...
