Now that I have figured out what I can do about old harddrives with a new computer, I had another question. What would happen if I hooked up a Ultra ATA 133 hard drive to a motherboard that only had a ATA 100 connection? Would the only thing that would happen be a decrease in speed? All the mother boards that are now out only have the ATA 100 connections from what I see. Thank you in advance for any help.

ER,, AHHH,,,,ATA 100/133 etc refers to the transfer [data moving] speed of the HDD in question not the drive's [rotational speed]
Just do not put an ATA 66 in front of a ATA 100/133....
,Because the first HDD that the system sees/detects will determine the transfer speed for the system until changed,,again...
