P5N32 SLI Delux MB Bios Problems?

Im interested in getting a P5N32 SLI delux mb.

I have a P4 Dual core 960 chip. And a 7900GT. Im just wondering what MB to put it all together (other sugestions on a similar MB that suports SLI and 960 CPU welcome).

I hear that the P5N32 SLI will only suport my 65nn P4 Dual core chip with an upgraded BIOS.

How hard is this to do?
Will I be able to get into windows with my 960 chip installed into the MB so I can D/L a newer BIOS? Or will I need to install single core CPU then update the BIOS then put back my Dual core chip (what a pain that would be considering I dont have a single core CPU)?

From what I have gathered this MB can be a pain to get going with a (default) under volted CPU with instability problems. And it does not OC that well and Heat sinks for NB and SB are really hot etc etc etc (opnions welcome).
