How to network under windows 2000

this has been giving me LOTS of trouble for the past few days. I was able to connect before the 3 computers i got at home to: share the internet via router (Linksys 4 port btw), AND have the 3 of them networked under WinME (which was EXTREMELY easy btw).

Now that i have Windows 2000 (i had thought it was time for an update ) ITS A PAIN!!! I am able to have internet access on the pc's, but i can't network them. and a funny thing also is that THE OTHER pc (the 3rd one isn't hooked up to any network yet... so i wont talk about it) is able to recognize THE current computer, but can't open it up (explore its c drive), while this PC can't even recognize that there is another pc in network.

Anyone have any ideas?

The greatest risk of all is not taking one!

Try using the same User name and password on both computers.
