WIndows 98 and Xp...mix?

hi all
i am running win xp on a P4 machine ..works fine to date
now i have a craving for win 98 my old OS
i have the original cd for win 98 SE
I wanna install that on a parition i have already made
but i dont have the win xp cd
can i install straight from the win 98 cd into drive d or E?
or is there a way out?
any help would be gr8
