I am looking for a video card for my new opty cpu & asus mb. I would like a quiet but powerful vc. The best I have found so far is the asus x1600xt or the fanless visiontec x1600 512mb. The vision tec is at my local frys for 300, which seems too high for a middle of the road card.
Would I be better off getting two of the asus 1600xt's in crossfire mode or going with one 1900gt and then adding some after market silent cooler? I would like to keep it under $350.
If you recommned the other what cooler would you go with?
Thanks

I'm doing pretty well wit my crossfire setup, no problems, no bulky stuff, no heat issues, Runs really nice, the only downside is that you have to disable crossfire for some games (ex. BF2)

The one thing that i really like is that I have Dual X1600Xt's, they're nice and small, no bulky parts, no extra power connectors and they aren't the immense long ones that stop u from using part of your hd bays.
