Downloadable mic? Never heard of one.

If your laptop doesn't have a built-in mic, you should be able to connect one either through a headphone style connector on one of the sides (if your laptop has the jacks), or use a USB headset with a mic.

ya question is vague

you can use USB or Cardbus (PCMCIA) to add mic port as well,

what if the mic is already on the computer but it still wont work
