So I'm thinking of building a new comp and was wondering how this sounds. Im looking at around 1,500-2,000 for everything(monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc in addition to the guts)

Athlon 64 x2 4200 350$
ATI Radeon 1900XT 500$
G.SKILL 2GB (2 x 1GB) 151$--http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820231047

I'm just not sure what mobo or PSU to get. Im looking at LCD screens too but I don't know whats good. Any and all help is appreciated.

ok, i assume you mean USD. But your post is not going to get many thoughtful replies. How do you plan to use your computer? Are you looking more at $1500 or more at $2000. $500 is a huge range.

What games do you play? What resolutions do you want to play them at? Do you want to overclock? How long do you want this system to last?

Before you post, please read other posts as many questions have been answered, but it gives you a much better idea on what information you need to post to get good replies.

Motherboard- DFI Lanparty Ultra D - $122 @ newegg
PSU- Antec Truepower II 550W- $90
LCD- Viewsonic Digital 19"

Here check out my build, with everything I have in my sig, and including 20" Viewsonic, a G5 mouse, G15 Gaming keyboard, and a Zalman 9500. It is a bit below 2000, by about 100 bucks including shipping. So, copy me, or build something new, just use mine as a guideline.
