P4 dual core 950 and 955x chipsets? Need Updated BIOS

Does the P5WD2 Premium need an updated bios to run the dual core 950 P4s? I thought the 955x chipsets would run the 950 out of the box no probs but right now im having a headache setting it up. NO post nuffink.

The Asus website indicates that you will need BIOS version 0606 to run the 950 with the B1 stepping, and version 0709 for the C1 stepping. If it's not posting.... either the bios does need to be flashed, or you're got a bad piece of hardware.
