I ordered 2 of these chips, both have the spec SL8ZH but one has codes ending with /05B and one with /05A on the chip; is this the stepping?

I'm confused because the article points out that BO is newer than AO; the chip with /05A has an April 06 date, the chip with /05B has a Feb 06 date.

Thanks

i'm 90% sure that the stepping of any given cpu cannot be determined from the packaging. Only way i know of (unless someone has a way to avoid this) is to install the chip and see for yourself.
