My iPAQ5550, TomTom3 and TomTom bluetooth receiver work together. iPAQ
Com ports are Com5 and Com 8.
I now have Microsoft Pocket Streets 2005 and (with TT3 not started) I
cannot get PS 2005 to communicate to the TomTom BT receiver. I have
tried all listed com ports in PS 2005.
Error message is The communications (COM) port is available but no
signal is being received. Make sure the GPS receiver is turned on and
connected to the correct port.
Anyone got this combination working or suggest a fix?

One of the two comm ports is actually the one being used, not both actually.
That is a function of the BT hardware and software on the PPC and has
nothing to do with the mapping software..So, try Pocket Streets on 5 or 8.
If either of those aren't there, either the connection isn't established
yet, or something else is using it. I'm not sure how TT makes you do it, but
for Pocket Streets you need to use the BT manager to connect to the GPS
first, and then try to configure and use the GPS in Pocket Streets.

Sven,
Problem was that tomttom3 gps~ file was claiming total rights to using
BT port. Removed file and all is now well.
