How can I test my memory modules?

i want to know if my memory modules are corrupt cause my computer crashes a lot(even though I have fomated it two days ago). I tried memtest but that program is too complicated cause my floppy doesnt work. Any other suggestions?

If you have access to another set of memory modules, another computer or a good friend, give them a go.

Or try burning memtest to a CD and boot from that.

Last shot would be to run Prime 95 with the memory intensive test and see if you get any warnings.

Thanks vulefu too. By the way 5600 in 3dmarks05 for r800pro, pretty impressive cause I got only 4200 with my x800gto/475/900) which is almost identical with 800pro. On the other hand I got a sloppy old p4 2,8(533).

I got 4611 in 3d marks 05 without overclocking, when I had my 2.8G 533 setup, I think Ati 5.13 drivers at the time.

Try the latest Omega Drivers, they gave a slight boost on my other computer with the X850XTPE.
