I have an a8r-mvp with bios revision 0503 and the rest of the specs are in my signature, I was wondering if there was a link or someone very familiar with the a8r's setup to recommend bios settings for speeding up the processor and memory, every time I try almost anything I lock up and have to start over. I don't want much, but even 3% on auto seems to not work, bear in mind it's stock cooling, but I've heard of people getting 250 mhz bus speeds and 2.4 ghz clock speeds on stock cooling. What gives??? Thanks for the help.

An excellent utility to easily find the max overclock of you CPU, and then use it to set in BIOS on boot, eliminates some guesswork, or you could just use it as a software overclock.

Thanks alot Rich! I'll give that tool a try. Does it just go step by step until it gets errors? Should I try it on my 1900xtx or just use rivatuner when the new one comes out? Thanks

The same motherboard sensor, the ITE8712 is on both boards, yet the newer board is recognized, but the older one is not. You have to select up systool manually to work on the A8R-MVP.
I used it on my A8R-MVP with no problems.
