Anyone boot WinXP from USB Flash Disk?

hi there!
has anyone booted Windows XP from a USB flash disk?
i've seen previous reviews that suggest it as a means of recovering a corrupted installation of windows but does anyone use it as their primary OS install?
if so, any feedback would be appreciated...
