Monitor comparison, 2007WFP vs older 2005WFP Dell

Anyone seen a comparison of them, I heard the older one is actually better for gaming..

I cannot remember where I read it - but I read the same thing. Also there were some banding issues with the 2007. The 2005 has less ghosting, but was supposed to have less uniform brightness across the display IIRC. The 2007 has a little more ghosting, a better viewing angles, better uniformity, but some banding problems, at least early on.

I searched for the review that specifically mentioned it, but couldn't find it. Maybe it was in a print mag. :?

I thought that was with early models, but now banding is corrected, of course, I could be mistaken.
