OS: WXP Pro
Printer: NEC 870 Superscript

Problem: Need driver

XP generic drivers make this printer perform slow and original features don't function. Adobe Print Gear was the original driver but neither Adobe nor Nec will support this printer. It's a shame because my printer is only 15 months old.

Did you try the Windows 2000 driver? It should work fine with XP.
