Got my bro a new machine. the spec is a DFI LP UT NF4 Ultra-D/AMD3500+(venice)/1GB Dual DDR Ram(Geil GLXNF1GB3200DC)/Nvidia 6600GT/Antec Neo430W.....

The problem is whenever there is a BT download happening the machine randomly reset, sometime it is after couple minutes, sometime it last couple hours, all seem random...while doing everythingelse is fine.

I thought it was a memory problem, so i let the built in memtest ran for 12hrs and it came up all clean.

Do anyone know what the hell is going on...i am lost 8O

It might be a bad network driver or flaky onboard LAN.

I would suggest trying a PCI NIC just to test with and see if the problem persists.

Also you might want to try knoppix:

Boot up and start some huge downloads.

Good Luck :-D

Youd be better off to go over to the dfistreet fourms...

Which slots are your ram sticks in...the organge or red??

How big is your PSU, it should be atleast 485W and if you use dual graphics and what you it should be 535-550W.

Is it onboard Lan? have you tried using a different network card?
have heard NeoHE PSU to give problems with certain mobos try different PSU if you have the chance.
