A Canadian Air Force F-18 crashed today in Qvebec. It was stationed at
Bagotville AFB. The pilot ejected and is safe.

Hi everyone,
check out http://www.grouchymedia.com/ for even more flying and other cool
bits of video footage, including the F18 Magic Carpet Ride which looks even
better in higher res. It is an American based site, but, there is a good vid
of a Harrier (MD Varient) going through its stuff.

With this and other losses, makes you wonder will Canada
have enough left over. My son's based in Val Cartier and
heard that Canada will be bringing the A/C into the 21st
century with major avionics upgrades. But with no new
planes coming into the inventory, how will they be able to
protect the massive country?

There's been a sign up throughout numerous aviation sites
to petition for the Snowbirds to replace their "Flintstone-
esque" Tudors with F18's. These guys deserve F-16's or
better !!! Too bad they never flew the Arrow!
