I've got a problem, my windows update can't install Windows 7 Service pack 1. It detects error 80070002. I tried all tutorials, but none of it works. All tutorials are about deleting some temporary files, but none of it actually works me. Please Help :( .

Have you tried to just down load it from ms and then try to install it.

I am trying it at the moment, but there are several options for downloading, not just Windows 7 SP1 so I am not sure which one should i choose. And that's why i want to download it from windows update.

I tried what Davcon said 1 month ago, but it's not working. But, I've found Sp1 on ms, and i downloaded it and tried to install. After installing it says that installation was not successful and there is some error and code : E_FAIL(0x80004005). Someone help please.

Have you tried inputting that error in Microsoft's Knowledge Database? Even putting in part of the error code can usually kickstart some ideas as to what might be wrong.

On a hunch, try disabling your anti-virus if it's not MS Security Essentials.
