for gfx card, we all know how a driver can make quite a diff in performance and/or IQ, just wondering if proc driver will do the same to proc perf.....currently using the v1.2.2 driver...seems fine....AMD has got a new driver v1.3.1 if im not mistaken...will it hv a perf diff? Any ideas?

That latest version merely addresses CPUs w/Cool 'n' Quiet issues, as it seems: http://www.dailytech.com/article.aspx?newsid=2426

No performance hit, one way or the other!

Huh, Now that's a new one- a CPU driver. I have never heard of a CPU driver before, except maybe if it is an ACPI CPU frequency-scaling driver like Intel's SpeedStep driver for Windows <= 5.0 or the CPU frequency scaling governor kernel modules in Linux.

If somebody knows what this CPU driver does, I would be interested in knowing.
