Crash, Processor, Ram not in experiance index

Ok I recently updated my Processor to a thuran 1090T X6 am3, which i updated from a Phenom 2 x4 9550, now my processor is detected in device manager correctly however it is not in the experience index, it says ram and processor are not available, my bios also reports the proper processor and ram, and the motherboard has the latest Bios, and supports this processor, however after I installed it the video adapter started failing on and off, its a brand new card, it worked fine before I upgraded the processor, Everyone says you don't have to format when just changing out the CPU, but I think I'm going to have to disagree here,. unless anyone knows whats going on here.

Do you have all the MS updates installed? Don't worry about the experience index unless you have other issues. Maybe you want to re-install the chipset and video drivers.
