Its not too bad right now but my son wants to play some other games and
fs2004 is a bit slow.
Here it is:

P3, 697 MHZ
384M RAM
Rage Fury 32M

I know this is not fast. Is the processor enough? The video and RAM can be
dealt with fairly easily.

Thanks,
Andy

According to the side panel of MSFS retail boxes the specs are:

It would work.. but just barely. I wouldn't sink any more $$ into it.

you cant really "upgrade" that pc. Sorry.

Extra ram might help, like 1024mb, however as Gregory said, its a bit of a
waste of time. And SDR ram is hard to come by now and VERY expensive.

Gfx wise would be "easy" as you say, anything AGP will work fine, however
mixed with such a slow CPU theres virtualy no point. However after alittle
bit more of thinking the MB might only support AGPx2 (3.3volt) cards which
would make it hard to find a AGP card now, that uses the 3.3 standard since
most use 1.5volts now!

However, depending on the MB model, it might be able to support those P3's
that go upto 1.4ghz (and overclock to 2ghz) then it would be a nice system,
however those P3s are only available at a very high cost, or ebay/any
auction site..... Risky stuff.
