Hi

Im gettin this new system. Asus sli motherboard. P4 Cedar Mill 631. Geforce 7900GTX. etc etc. I would like a recommendation for the PSU. I was checkin on the internet and I saw that in case i want to upgrade to SLI in the future I would need at least 550 watts. But adding the other pc component I think 650 watts and up would be OK. So...

which brand do you recommend me?
what model?
please any psu no higher than $130

Thanks

lol, unless your running quad sli, ppu card, fx-60 and stuff... you wouldnt need a 650W PSU

for your computer, if you plan to SLI 7900 gtx, a 600W should be plentiful... just make sure you are getting "SLI READY" "SATA READY" PSU, its cause when it says that, it'll guarentee that it can run SLI cards properly.

Getting a 600W PSU might be a problem with 130$, depending on the brand name...

So 600 Watts would be ok right?

Hmm what about "brand"? which ones are the ones you recommend me. and models so I can check prices on the internet. There are so many brands and models that I dont know which ones are ok.

After getting all the components of my new PC. I might be getting in a couple of months the PPU and a Dual-Core processor (cuz they are kinda expensive right now ). So still 600Watts would be ok with all that stuff and plus the 3 fans of my case and the 3 neons?

Thanks

Well it looks good.
Thermaltake is the case I have so it would be good to have a thermaltake PSU too.

Any recommendations will be still accepted

An antec neo HE would fit the bill

A silverstone 600w with cable select would be a lot more expensive but would be better.

Tagan makes a 580w easycon is also a nice PSU.

If you inted to go SLI it wont hurt to have the extra power of 600 wats

They look good

So Thermal Take, Aerocool, Antec, Silverstone are what you guys have recommended me...

Ill take a look at the tigerdirect store to see if they have this stuff or maybe it would be better to get them on ebay.

Thanks

personally I prefer Antec or Enermax. Both are good psu's. The others mentioned are not bad either, I just know these work as They are the only ones I have bought. I have never had an issue w/ either.
