Suggeations 4 New MO/Processor?

I'm thinking on getting a new AMD Socket 939 system.

My Current System is:
Athlon XP (Socket A) 3200 2.26hz 400Fsb
MSI K7N2 Delta2 Ultra 400

Question - This of the two processor types (motherboards) will provide the greatest increase in performance and upgradeability in the future?

A) Athlon 64 FX/Athlon 64/Sempron

B) Athlon 64 FX/Athlon 64 X2/Athlon 64

Seems like A is the description for Socket 754 and B for Socket 939.

With Socket AM2 right around the corner, it would be wise to wait until it is released.

Yes but conroe will beat am2 so yeah i would wait till summer.
